FlipperMan vs #MileShyClub
Flipping heck! What a GREAT session! FlipperMan joined us today for our warm up and run and he (Craig) told us about his amazing flipper challenge, raising money for The Christie. All money raised today has gone to Craig's fundraising page, and we know loads of you asked for the link to donate so here it is: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/craig-keatley2
#MileShyClub runner Amanda features in Women's Running magazine
Everyone has different reasons for giving running a try. One of our runners, Amanda, appeared in Women's Running magazine today and the #MileShyClub even got a mention. Amanda's story is truly, truly inspirational.
Lunchtime run in the rain with Up and Running Manchester
Okay, so we get that running in the rain might not be everyone's thing. But kudos to those who turned out at lunchtime today and went for a steady jog around Manchester city centre!
Quite possibly our favourite #ParkRun to date!
Today was just FANTASTIC. Honestly, quite possibly one of the best #ParkRuns we've ever done. Newbies Nursel, Debs and MEL(YEAH!!!) did superb. Jenny, a recent addition to the #MileShyClub had been working hard on improving her times with us, and today proved anything is possible. She took on her 33rd #ParkRun and smashed her personal best time, coming in at 37 minutes, 30 seconds, a whopping 2 minutes 40 seconds improvement and her first sub-40 minute 5k. Rosie popped up to cheer us on at halfway and is mega inspired to complete her #Mileshy training now and do her first 5k. It was an emotional one today... tears (of success) were shed!

Another visit to Wythenshawe #ParkRun sees our biggest turnout to date!
9 newbies joined other runners from the #MileShyClub this weekend and every single one crossed the finish line. We celebrated their success by handing them well deserved goody bags and we were as usual made to feel very welcome from the Wythenshawe crowd. Here are some photos from the day!
A lot can happen in 6 months... here's our video review of the highlights!
Check out the video below for a look of our achievements to date.
ParkRun Wythenshawe visit left us speechless with PBs and first timer impressions!
WHAT A MORNING! We brought the sunshine again! Tracy took on her first ParkRun in style! Helen, Andy, Kath....returned and GOT PB'S! (arghhh brilliant!) But absolute hats off to Jonny today. First ParkRun EVER. Says before he begins, "It would be good to try and get below 30 minutes..." Finish time? An amazing 23 minutes 20 seconds. Jonny IS AWESOME! Someone had their weetabix this morning! #mileshynomore #c25k #runninginspiration
