Our walking clubs are open to everyone - as a club we cater for all abilities and adapt our sessions to sure they are fully inclusive.

Locations: We currently have clubs across Greater Manchester located in Eccles, Old Trafford, Partington, Sale, Peel Park, Stretford, Swinton and The Trafford Centre.

Time: Times vary - please see locations linked above for details.

Cost: All of our walking groups (except for Partington and Stretford) are delivered and led by Advanced Walk Leaders that are trained in working with people with long term physical and mental health conditions. All sessions begin with a mobility and flexibility warm up before heading out for an easy going walk - these walks are for people just starting out so they are generally between 1-2 miles. We will always make sure that no one gets left behind and will cater our walks to suit those working up to a mile, and for those who want to work up to 2 miles. The sessions end with gentle cool down stretches and there’s always the option to stay after the session for refreshments and a chat. These sessions cost £2 per session on a pay as you go basis - please bring cash on the day.

We have been lucky enough to secure funding for some of our groups which means that we are currently able to offer the following groups for FREE: The Trafford Centre (funded by MileShyClub) Old Trafford (funded by Voice of BME Trafford) and Eccles, Peel Park and Swinton (funded by Sport England).

Our Partington and Stretford walking groups are FREE informal groups led by volunteers at the same time as our running groups - you can use these groups as a stepping stone for maybe trying Couch To 5K one day or simply come along to make new friends and have a chat whilst going for a leisurely 1-2 mile walk.

Before attending please complete our medical form in advance of the session HERE.
