PARKRUN VOLUNTEERING
TO SUPPORT OUR C25K GRADUATION
Our next Couch To 5K graduation run will take place on Saturday, 8th march
at both Peel and alexandra parkruns.
Our graduation runs always have a fantastic turnout thanks to our amazing community that always shows up to support our newest MileShyers. We now have FIFTEEN clubs and LOTS of runners which has meant we are now too big to attend one location - we’re going to be heading to Peel and Alexandra parkruns so that all of our runners have a local event to get to.
On previous occasions we have organised a complete volunteering takeover to support the core teams on the day - as we’re now going to be spread across two locations our main aim for volunteering will be to provide all the marshals for each parkrun. That way our runners will have the best support all the way around the course and we get support the core team for both parkruns
If you’ve never volunteered before please do come along and give it a go, it’s great fun and an amazing way to get involved in the parkrun community. It’s likely the whole marshalling squad will be MileShyers so you’ll be amongst friends - and you’ll also be in a better position to cheer our C25Kers on than you would if you were running!
